NORWEGIAN WOOD COVER

I redesigned the cover of Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, aiming to capture its emotional depth. The front features a woman with a rose over one eye, symbolizing one of the characters’ beauty and loneliness. The rose reflects love and fragility, while concealing her real feelings and emotional struggles. On the back, the rose is wilted, representing her mental decline. This contrast shows her outward grace versus inner turmoil. The cover is a reflection on the novel’s themes.

ROLLING STONE COVER

I designed a Rolling Stone magazine cover featuring Weyes Blood, an artist I admire who hasn’t been on the cover yet. The goal was to create a cover that reflects her music and Rolling Stone’s brand identity. Soft purples and blues reflects her ethereal, mystical vibe, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The color scheme mirrors the tone of her music and vibe. Contrasting pink text highlights her name, drawing focus to the feature. The design balances aesthetic appeal with editorial intent.
